Ibn Khaldun Journal of Islamic Economics and Business (IKJIEB) focuses on publishing scholarly works that examine the development of theory, practice, and policy in the fields of Islamic economics and business through an interdisciplinary approach. The journal aims to serve as a platform for disseminating knowledge that integrates Sharia values with modern economic dynamics in order to promote the establishment of an equitable, sustainable, and welfare-oriented economic system.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, Islamic economics, Islamic finance, Sharia banking, Sharia-based business management, Islamic entrepreneurship, zakat, waqf, Islamic social finance, and the digital economy from a Sharia perspective. In addition, the journal also accommodates studies related to public policy, governance of Islamic financial institutions, and the integration of maqashid al-shariah in economic and business practices. IKJIEB accepts empirical research articles, literature reviews, case studies, and conceptual papers that provide academic and practical contributions to the development of Islamic economics at both national and global levels.
